The Jacques Marie Mage Taos in Lone Mountain reintroduces an Icon of JMM, originally released in Summer 2016, through the expressive lens of the Turquoise Collection. It draws inspiration from Lone Mountain turquoise, a gemstone revered worldwide for its rarity, depth, and cultural legacy. As a result, this reinterpretation elevates a classic ’60s-inspired rectangular silhouette into a bold and collectible eyewear statement.
Deeply rooted in the creative spirit of Dennis Hopper, the Taos channels the free energy of late-’60s counterculture. It also reflects the artistic world of Hopper Goods and the cinematic influence of Easy Rider (1969). Furthermore, it celebrates individuality, movement, and rebellion in a refined and controlled form. Therefore, it stands as a frame designed for both the modern traveler and the discerning collector.

Handcrafted in Japan, the Taos in Lone Mountain reflects exceptional precision in material and finish. The polished black 10mm cured cellulose acetate frame delivers depth, structure, and lasting durability.
In addition, signature sterling silver arrowhead front pins are embellished with rare Lone Mountain turquoise, creating a distinctive focal point. Exposed Tonopah wirecores feature refined hairline engraving that highlights the internal craftsmanship. Meanwhile, 7-barrel hinges finished in silver palladium ensure smooth function and long-term reliability. Star-shaped rivets at the temple tips and inner-temple hallmarks in silver foil complete the frame with precise detailing.
