The Jacques Marie Mage Wesley in Aegen is a dynamic and sleek JMM design, originally inspired by an iconic style from 2016. With its wide fit, elegant rectangular profile and distinctive keyhole nose bridge, the Wesley combines vintage inspiration with a contemporary attitude. Limited to only 300 pieces, this exclusive edition showcases sculptural details and JMM’s innovative feathered wirecore design.

Vision

The Wesley features a sophisticated wide rectangular silhouette with a distinctive keyhole nose bridge. Its 10mm cured cellulose acetate construction creates a strong yet refined presence. In the Aegen colourway, the frame combines rich Havana acetate with custom double-laminated temples. Clear beige exteriors meet Havana interiors, creating a subtle contrast and adding depth to the design.

Meanwhile, the Wesley is fitted with Armorlite 6-base cyan lenses. Their vibrant colour brings a fresh and contemporary character to the warm acetate. The lenses feature a backside anti-reflective treatment, which enhances visual comfort and reduces distracting reflections.

Furthermore, the lenses provide 100% UV protection. With a 41% transmission rate, they offer a Category 2 tint, making them well suited to everyday conditions with moderate sunlight.

Crafted to perfection

The Wesley introduces an exceptional interpretation of the classic temple. Its exposed Feather wirecores, finished in Light Gold with Silver Palladium stems, create a sculptural detail inspired by the movement and texture of feathers.

Signature arrowhead front pins, finished in Light Gold, add a recognizable JMM touch to the front. Furthermore, custom 5-barrel hinges feature refined hairline details and matching Light Gold finishing.

Meanwhile, spur-shaped rivets finished in Silver complete the temples. Finally, inner-temple hallmarks are foil-stamped in Silver, adding a discreet signature detail.

As a result, the Wesley balances strong proportions with intricate craftsmanship and distinctive JMM detailing.

The Wesley comes in a Bordeaux Empire silk-wrapped monograph box set. It includes a custom leather eyewear case handcrafted in Italy and an oversized microfiber cleaning cloth. A letterpress authenticity card also accompanies the frame, featuring craftsmen’s signatures and a handwritten serial number.
