The Jacques Marie Mage Dealan in Halo is one of the most iconic JMM designs, originally released in Spring 2015. Inspired by the relationship between an artist and their eyewear, this distinctive silhouette returns for the Photochromic Collection. Limited to only 300 pieces, the Dealan combines bold proportions, refined craftsmanship and responsive photochromic technology.

Vision

The Dealan features a sophisticated medium-sized silhouette with a distinctive JMM character. Its 10mm cured cellulose acetate construction creates a bold yet balanced presence. In the Halo colourway, the frame comes in polished Brut acetate with matching temples. As a result, its clean appearance allows the refined details to stand out.

Meanwhile, the Dealan is equipped with Armorlite 6-base photochromic brown gradient lenses. These specialized lenses respond naturally to changing light conditions. Outdoors, ultraviolet rays activate the lenses and deepen their tint. Indoors, they gradually return to a lighter shade.

Therefore, the Dealan offers a dynamic visual experience throughout the day. The lenses also provide 100% UVA and UVB protection while filtering blue-violet light. In addition, a backside anti-reflective treatment enhances visual comfort and optical performance.

Crafted to perfection

The Dealan combines its sculptural acetate with carefully considered metal details. Signature arrowhead front pins, finished in Light Gold, add a distinctive JMM signature to the front. Furthermore, exposed Classic wirecores feature refined hairline details and matching Light Gold finishing.

Custom 7-barrel hinges, finished in Silver Palladium, provide a precise and durable construction. Meanwhile, spur-shaped rivetheads add another subtle signature to the temples. Finally, inner-temple hallmarks in Silver foil complete the design.

As a result, the Dealan balances strong proportions with sophisticated finishing. Every detail reinforces its unmistakable JMM identity.

Limited production batch of 300 pieces

Packaging

The Dealan comes in a Bordeaux Empire silk-wrapped monograph box set. It includes a custom leather eyewear case handcrafted in Italy and an oversized microfiber cleaning cloth. A letterpress authenticity card also accompanies the frame, featuring craftsmen’s signatures and a handwritten serial number.
