The Jacques Marie Mage Leclair in Blackbuck is a sophisticated interpretation of the classic Wellington silhouette. Part of the exclusive Héritage II Collection, the Leclair combines a distinctly ’50s-inspired shape with exceptional craftsmanship and refined Art Deco details. Limited to only 200 pieces, this model offers a rare expression of JMM’s approach to modern luxury eyewear.

Vision

The Leclair revisits a timeless Wellington shape with a sharper and more contemporary character. Its 10mm Blackbuck Buffalo Horn frame gives the model a rich and naturally distinctive appearance. Moreover, polished metal lens-rim inserts create a subtle contrast around the lenses. The result is both elegant and highly architectural.

The proprietary PTX urethane 4-base lenses come in Charcoal and offer 18% light transmission. They also provide Category 3 protection and 100% UV protection. Additionally, a backside anti-reflective treatment helps improve visual comfort.

Crafted to perfection

Handcrafted in Italy, the Leclair showcases meticulous attention to detail. Custom arrowhead front pins feature additional volume and fine hairline engraving. Furthermore, the polished temple inlays display JMM’s signature Art Deco-inspired linework.

The frame is completed with custom 5-barrel hinges, dark gold metal details and sculptural temples. Optional nose pads with adjustable arms also allow for a more precise fit. Every element has therefore been carefully considered, combining functionality with a distinctive aesthetic.

Limited production batch of 200 pieces

Only 200 pieces of the Jacques Marie Mage Leclair have been produced. Consequently, this limited edition is designed for collectors and eyewear enthusiasts looking for something particularly rare.

Packaging

The Leclair comes in an exceptional Bordeaux Empire Collector’s Box Set. It includes a custom leather eyewear case with a precious metal buffalo embellishment. An oversized double-sided microfiber cleaning cloth is also included.

In addition, JMM provides a custom stainless-steel screwdriver with burgundy enamel detailing. Finally, a tin of Horn Wax and a dedicated polishing cloth allow you to properly maintain the Buffalo Horn over time.
