Handcrafted in Japan, the Perle RX in Shadow is built from 10mm cured cellulose acetate in a deep black finish. The temples feature a sophisticated double-laminated construction with clear exteriors and black interiors. This subtle layering creates depth while highlighting the sculptural character of the frame.
At the front, signature sterling silver arrowhead pins reinforce the structure and emphasize the brand’s unmistakable identity. Along the temples, exposed Vauxhall wirecores plated in palladium silver reveal refined hairline engravings, adding another level of detail.
The frame also features custom 5-barrel hinges plated in palladium silver, ensuring smooth articulation and long-lasting durability. Additional spur-shaped rivets and silver foil hallmarks inside the temples confirm authenticity and elevate the collectible nature of the design.
Only 400 pieces of the Perle RX were produced worldwide. This limited production reinforces its exclusivity and makes each pair a sought-after collectible.
The frame is fitted with Armorlite 4-base lenses in Superlight Grey. A backside anti-reflective treatment improves visual clarity while reducing glare. The lenses also provide reliable UV protection for everyday comfort.
