Midcentury-inspired titanium pilot sunglasses with a refined double wire-rim design and custom monoblock hinges. Finished with Armorlite gradient lenses and anti-reflective coating. Limited production of 450 numbered pieces, delivered with signature Jacques Marie Mage packaging.
Inspired by midcentury travel and literary modernism, the Cendrars in Musket channels the restless elegance of the 1950s. Named after Blaise Cendrars, poet, novelist, and tireless explorer, this pilot silhouette reflects a life lived in motion. Clean lines lead the eye. Refined proportions anchor the design. Every detail speaks of cultivated freedom. As a result, these spectacles feel worldly, precise, and quietly expressive. They suit modern flâneurs who move between cultures, ideas, and disciplines with ease.
Crafted entirely from 100% beta titanium, the Cendrars frame balances strength with lightness. The double wire-rim construction adds depth while maintaining a streamlined profile. Meanwhile, custom monoblock hinges ensure durability and smooth articulation. Subtle epoxy accents refine the temples. Winged temple tips introduce a sculptural finish. In addition, dark gold finishes create contrast and visual rhythm. The Armorlite 4-base lenses feature a moss gradient and backside anti-reflective treatment for comfort and clarity throughout the day.
Produced in a limited batch of only 450 pieces, the Cendrars in Musket remains intentionally rare. Each frame carries an individually numbered serial, reinforcing its collectible nature. Consequently, ownership feels personal and deliberate. This is eyewear for those who value discretion as much as distinction.
Each limited-edition frame arrives in Jacques Marie Mage’s signature monograph box set. Inside, you’ll find an Italian-handcrafted hard leather case, a microfiber cleaning cloth that doubles as a pocket square, and a letterpress certificate signed by the craftsman. Together, these elements celebrate artistry, heritage, and authenticity.
A literary icon. Reimagined in titanium.
