The Jacques Marie Mage AMILCAR in LONDON captures the refined spirit of classic grand touring. Inspired by the golden age of European sportscraft, this round silhouette combines graceful curves with precise mechanical details.
Its softly arched brow creates a balanced expression. Meanwhile, the warm brown acetate adds depth and character. As a result, AMILCAR feels elegant without becoming overly formal.
The 10mm cured cellulose acetate frame brings substance to the design. At the same time, the clear beige interiors of the double-laminated temples create a subtle contrast. Therefore, every angle reveals another carefully considered detail.
Jacques Marie Mage builds AMILCAR with an uncompromising approach to craftsmanship. The frame features 18K dark gold arrowhead front pins and inner-exposed Viceroy wirecores finished in dark gold.
Furthermore, custom 7-barrel hinges feature refined hairline details for a precise and durable construction. The 10k gold spur-shaped rivets add another touch of luxury. Finally, gold foil hallmarks discreetly mark the inner temples.
The orange Armorlite CR39 lenses follow a 2-base curve. They also feature backside anti-reflective treatment and UV protection. Consequently, AMILCAR combines distinctive design with practical everyday performance.
