The Jacques Marie Mage Whiskeyclone in Mystique brings the attitude of the early 1990s into a refined contemporary frame. Inspired by the era’s distinctive style, this medium-sized rectangular silhouette combines bold volume with carefully sculpted details. Limited to only 400 pieces, the Whiskeyclone offers a confident expression of modern JMM eyewear.

Vision

The Whiskeyclone features a medium-sized rectangular shape with substantial volume. Its strong lines create a distinctive presence while maintaining balanced proportions. Meanwhile, the 10mm cured cellulose acetate construction gives the frame a solid and luxurious feel.

In the Mystique colourway, the frame features polished black acetate with double-laminated temples. Dark grey exteriors contrast with black interiors, creating subtle depth and dimension. As a result, the temples add a sophisticated detail to the overall design.

Furthermore, the Whiskeyclone comes with Armorlite 2-base Lapis CR39 lenses. Their 44% transmission rate provides a Category 2 tint. The lenses also feature a backside anti-reflective treatment. Therefore, they combine a distinctive blue tone with comfortable everyday protection and UV filtering.

Crafted to perfection

The Whiskeyclone combines sculptural acetate with precise JMM detailing. Signature arrowhead front pins in matte black add a discreet yet distinctive touch to the front. Meanwhile, exposed Classic wirecores finished in Silver Palladium bring a refined technical element to the temples.

The custom 7-barrel hinges feature refined hairline details and a Silver Palladium finish. Furthermore, spur-shaped rivets finished in Silver complete the construction.

Finally, inner-temple hallmarks foil-stamped in Silver provide a subtle signature of authenticity. Together, these details reinforce the sophisticated character of the Whiskeyclone.

Packaging

The Whiskeyclone comes with an Italian-handcrafted leather eyewear case and a microfiber cleaning cloth that can also be used as a pocket square. The frame is presented in hard-shelled, silk fabric-covered packaging.

A letterpress authenticity certificate completes the presentation. It features the limited-edition serial number and the craftsman’s signature.
