The Bo Joe for JMM: Diné in Bloodstone celebrates sacred artistry and cultural heritage. Named after the Dinè (Navajo) word for “the people,” these limited-edition spectacles embody symbols central to Dinè tradition. Sculptural square frames meet intricate temple details, honoring natural elements, sacred rivers, and ceremonial motifs in a design both spiritual and contemporary.
Handcrafted from 10mm plant-based cellulose acetate, the frame features triple-laminated temples with clear exteriors, black centers, and bordeaux interiors. Signature sterling silver arrowhead front pins anchor the design. Silver palladium-plated temple ornaments highlight traditional Dinè patterns with Lone Mountain turquoise inlays. The custom ‘Three Rivers’ wirecores feature tufa-stone texture in dark gold, flowing into symbolic four-pointed stars. Eagle Feather temple-tip medallions, set with turquoise, complete this unique ensemble. Custom 9-barrel hinges, plated in silver palladium with hairline engravings, ensure smooth movement and durability.
Crown mineral glass lenses with 6-base curvature provide exceptional clarity and optical precision. Backside anti-reflective treatment reduces glare, while the lenses offer 100% UV protection. The dark black finish with a 13% transmission rate balances elegance and function, making these glasses ideal for both daily wear and ceremonial display.
