The Jacques Marie Mage Godard in Bloodstone is a limited-edition ’60s-inspired frame with a 10mm black acetate build, silver detailing, and superlight grey lenses. With its strong brow line and refined paddle temples, it pays tribute to French New Wave cinema. Only 500 pieces worldwide – numbered, handcrafted, and climate-neutral.
Think boldly. The Godard in Bloodstone is a celebration of defiance, intellect, and style. Inspired by the rebellious spirit of French New Wave cinema, these ‘60s-inspired spectacles are made for those who question everything and follow no formula but their own. With its smaller fit and cerebral silhouette, this frame pays tribute to filmmaker Jean-Luc Godard’s radical vision—challenging the expected, and rewriting the rules of form and function.
This design features a striking 10mm black cured cellulose acetate frame with custom double-laminated temples. A strong brow line adds presence, while the softly curving paddle temples offer comfort and balance. Details matter: sterling silver arrowhead front pins, an exposed silver wirecore, and a custom 7-barrel hinge with refined hairline engraving complete the structure. The lenses—superlight grey CR39—are 4-base and include a backside anti-reflective treatment, delivering everyday clarity with visual depth.
Limited to just 500 pieces worldwide, each Godard is individually numbered and laser-engraved. Once gone, it will never be reproduced. This is more than eyewear—it’s an exclusive work of design.
Delivered in a handcrafted Italian leather case, complete with a microfiber cleaning cloth/pocket square, and housed in a silk-wrapped hard box. A letterpress certificate confirms your frame’s serial number and the artisan’s signature. Care instructions are included to ensure longevity and lasting quality.
For the thinkers, the rebels, the artists.
The Godard in Bloodstone speaks in silence, disrupts in stillness, and frames your world with intention.
Rare. Cinematic. Climate-neutral.
