The HÉRITAGE II: YVES in BHARAL revisits an iconic Jacques Marie Mage silhouette. Originally released in Summer 2018, the YVES captures the sophistication and confidence of the Super Seventies.
For the HÉRITAGE Collection, this distinctive design returns in responsibly sourced buffalo horn. Its wide proportions create a strong and elegant presence. Meanwhile, the sculptural lines give the frame a refined character.
Inspired by the celebrated French couturiers of the era, the YVES balances glamour with timeless sophistication. As a result, it feels both vintage and remarkably contemporary.
Handcrafted in Italy, the YVES showcases the exceptional attention to detail that defines Jacques Marie Mage. The frame and temples use substantial 10mm buffalo horn, allowing the natural material to become part of the design.
Furthermore, custom sterling silver arrowhead front pins feature additional volume and delicate hairline engraving. The sculptural temples add another layer of distinction. Their polished metal inlays feature signature Art Deco-inspired linework, while spur-shaped rivets secure the construction.
Custom 9-barrel hinges, finished in silver palladium, provide precision and durability. Optional nose pads with adjustable arms also offer additional comfort.
The frame is paired with proprietary PTX urethane 4-base lenses in Azure. They provide a Category 2 tint, 33% light transmission, UV protection and backside anti-reflective treatment.
Only 100 pieces of the HÉRITAGE II: YVES in BHARAL have been produced. Therefore, this limited edition represents a truly exclusive piece of collectible luxury eyewear.
The experience continues with a remarkable Bordeaux Empire Collector’s Box Set. Inside, you will find a custom leather eyewear case with a precious metal buffalo embellishment.
An oversized double-sided microfiber cleaning cloth and a custom stainless steel screwdriver with burgundy enamel detailing are also included. Finally, a tin of Horn Wax and a dedicated polishing cloth help preserve the natural beauty of the buffalo horn.
