Vision
The Epoxy II: Zephirin in Fumée brings a legendary JMM silhouette into a new chapter of refinement. Inspired by the intellectual rebels and bold visionaries of the pre-WWII era, this model blends archival proportions with expressive craftsmanship. Here, tradition meets innovation. The result feels timeless, yet unmistakably modern. Moreover, the Epoxy Collection elevates the Zephirin with colors inspired by the luminous depth of Echizen lacquerware, a Japanese craft defined by its patience, expertise, and artistic precision.
Every detail serves a purpose. The polished black 10mm acetate frame gives structure and presence, while the custom double-laminated temples add contrast and sophistication. Then come the signature enhancements: sterling silver arrowhead front-pins with hand-painted black epoxy inlays, exposed “baguette” wirecores engraved with delicate hairline patterns, and spur-shaped rivets plated in silver palladium. Even the hinges—custom 5-barrel components—carry refined Art Deco-inspired engravings. Completed with Nimbus Armorlite lenses featuring backside anti-reflective treatment, the Zephirin offers clarity, comfort, and unmistakable style.
Only 300 pieces exist worldwide. Each frame reflects the careful touch of artisans who honor both heritage and innovation. Because of this, every pair becomes a collector’s piece—unique, meaningful, and worthy of admiration.
The Zephirin arrives in JMM’s signature monograph box set, wrapped in burgundy silk fabric. Inside, you’ll find a matching envelope-style case crafted from laminated leather with hand-painted edges, a commemorative cleaning cloth, and a letterpress authenticity card featuring collection notes and your frame’s individual edition number. Each component continues the story of craftsmanship and intention.
The Epoxy II: Zephirin in Fumée is more than eyewear. It is a deliberate choice—a symbol of clarity, confidence, and depth.
