Inspired by a lifetime of creation and rebellion, it embodies the meeting point of poetry and design. The color “Rayon Violet” references Smith’s literary allusion to Arthur Rimbaud, the French poet who profoundly influenced her vision and artistry. Handcrafted in Japan, the Dealan in Rayon Violet is made from 10mm polished Havana plant-based acetate, a material chosen for its rich texture and durability. The Armorlite 6-base lenses in Nimbus provide soft contrast and superior optical clarity, enhanced by a backside anti-reflective coating. Every detail reflects an unwavering dedication to craft: Sterling Silver arrowhead pins with Bloodstone inlays, custom exposed wirecores engraved with lyrics from Smith’s song “Land,” and inner temples foil-stamped with her signature in silver. The construction features custom seven-barrel hinges with refined hairline details, merging strength and grace in perfect harmony.
