What immediately captured my attention with AHLEM is this particular approach of design that intertwined a exquisite feminine touch with minimalistic aesthetics.

Launched in 2014 by Parisian-born, Los Angeles-based designer, AHLEM Manai-Platt focuses on creating timeless eyewear inspired by both architectural Bauhaus movement of the 20th century and also the unique elegance of Parisian people.

Something which may seems anecdotical at first sight but in fact illustrates well what we share in common is our perfectionism. It reflects well in her commitment to quality craftsmanship with the utmost respect for artisanal expertises and also in the smallest details of her eyewear models. These values determine also what I ‘m constantly pursuing in my work.

AHLEM was also one of the first collection I choose for le bar à lunettes during the Silmo fair 2018 in Paris before the opening of Le Bar à Lunettes … and since then one of the preferred eyewear brand by my customers… perfect match isn’t it…
